Summit skiboards are designed with one goal in mind – to take the sport of skiboarding to a new level of performance.  Handcrafted, one pair at a time, with extreme attention to detail, the Summit Urban 99 cm Skiboards feature a vertically laminated tip-to-tail northern birch/poplar wood core and parabolic sidecut. New this year is a hybrid ABS Cap/Sidewall/Cap construction. This construction allows for maximum performance and stability at speed, holding an edge no matter how hard you charge it. Cap construction is used in the front and rear for greater durability. 

Go ahead, lay it over and drag your hand on the ground and experience the thrill that these skiboards can provide. Smooth, rock solid performance and incredible stability at speed. Also new this season is a special sintered graphite base  for maximum wax retention, durability and enhanced speed. Designed for true all mountain riding, these handcrafted skiboards will take you into those breathtaking steep chutes or flying through the glades in total control. You can lean hard on the back tails and they are going to support you, a true comfort to know during those deep powder days. Edges hold even on ice.

Tuning: These come edges fully tuned. It is recommended to wax your bases before riding. You can get a local hand hot wax or do it yourself and choose the Quick Mini Tune Kit

Base color will vary between Lime Green with Black lettering and Black with Lime Green lettering.

Bindings: 

Step-in Release: Atomic M10 bindings are our choice for adjustable, step-in release bindings this season. These come with free mounting and free wide brake. These fit ski boots size approx. 4-14 US.

Step-in Release:  Atomic Strive MNC 11 High Performance Step-in Release Bindings: Take a step up in performance with higher DIN setting (3.5-11) for you truly adventurous souls. High performance construction for those who charge it, like jumps, tree runs and all. Beefed up bindings for more advanced riders. Comes with free mounting and wide brakes at no extra charge. These Atomic bindings do not inhibit flex in any way and bend with your skiboards thus providing maximum performance. Boot size range is 262mm to 382mm (approx. 4-15 US).

NOTE: We pre-mount the release bindings for you and include free wide brakes.

Snowboard Bindings: Technine Custom Pro DS Snowboard Bindings. The Custom Pro DS features a partial wrap around cuff at the top (referred to as a “double scruff” or DS for short) that provides additional stability and even quicker response for aggressive carving and maximum performance with skiboards. The three rachet buckle straps make it easy to get just that perfect fit.  Fits snowboard boot sizes 7-14 US. This kit includes Technine Custom Pro DS Snowboard Bindings, all hardware, Summit Riser Kit with all hardware.  Everything you need to mount and ride with snowboard boots on skiboards. Non-release performance bindings: Any standard 4X4 insert pattern skiboard bindings will work great with the Ecstatic 99 skiboards.

Summit Snowboard Binding Riser Kit – Riser plate rests on a 3″ round hard disc allowing maximum performance with total power transfer from boots to skiboards. Circular disc allows your skiboards to flex through the full range of possible edging and eliminates dead spots. Rubber cushions in front and back of plate allow full flex of your skiboards while also offer dampening to make your ride more smooth, yet do not inhibit “road feel”.

Note: While there are currently no specific guidelines or laws preventing the use of non-release bindings on skiboards when used with snowboard bindings the risk of injury increases.
