The new 26/27 Summit Bamboo Pro 99 cm DW skiboards are made in support of Summit Pro rider Dustin Werbeski,(opens in new tab) a more serious all-mountain performance. Fast, powerful, and ready to get creative, it pairs a high-energy wood core with a bamboo topsheet for a slightly softer, livelier feel than the Carbon Pro 99. Symmetrical twin tips keep it loose for spins, switch riding, and park laps, while the double wood core keeps things solid when you turn up the speed.

HIGH-PERFORMANCE CONSTRUCTION:

Underneath that playful ride is some serious tech. Fast die-cut sintered graphite bases deliver excellent glide, wax retention, and durability, while aggressive beveled edges and traditional camber provide powerful grip and effortless carving. Cap/Sidewall/Cap construction adds torsional stability, vibration dampening, edge protection, and direct power transfer. A parabolic sidecut paired with a solid Northern Hemisphere Birch core creates a smooth, consistent flex from tip to tail. Equally fast and playful, the layout glove-dragging carves, rips moguls, and makes fast turns through the glades. These things are built to move.

Because of the wide platform, you get plenty of float when the snow gets deep, while the compact 99 cm length stays quick through trees, steeps, and tight terrain. Take them through chutes, pipes, parks, powder, or beyond the resort.

Atomic M10 Step-in Release Bindings: These are our choice for adjustable, step-in release bindings this season. These come with free mounting and wide brakes at no extra charge. These Atomic bindings do not inhibit flex in any way and bend with your skiboards, thus providing maximum performance.

Atomic Warden 11 Step-in Release Bindings: Take a step up in performance with a higher DIN setting (3.5-11) for you truly adventurous souls. Non-Release Bindings: The Carbon Pro 99 can be mounted with non-release bindings that fit the standard 40 mm x 40 mm insert pattern.

For 4 years running now, these have a proven track record of skiboard performance with snowboard boots. The Custom Snowboard bindings feature 3 padded ratchet straps to hold you in place when carving. This allows a more stable interface between boots and bindings. ABS Cap/Sidewall Construction:

The high-energy, lively wood core is sandwiched between two top layers of triaxial fiberglass, a layer of Kevlar, and a bottom layer of triaxial fiberglass, providing just the right combination of flex and torsional stiffness that offers an incredibly smooth ride. In addition, an extra layer of biaxial fiberglass is added to maintain the smooth tip-to-tail flex, allowing just the right carving feel. A layer of rubber dampening makes for vibration absorption while still allowing for maximum “road feel”. The Bamboo Pro 99 advantages include increased torsional stability, greater edge protection, enhanced power transfer to the edges, additional vibration dampening, greater strength, and reinforce the full length flex from tip to tail.

Wood core:

Vertically laminated birch wood core runs the full length of the skiboards, tip to tail, providing highly responsive energy as well as greater long-term durability. The wood is Northern Hemisphere birch, which is very light, yet super strong. Colder temperatures create wood that is denser, thus super strong, while being very light in weight. This is why we choose wood from the Northern Hemisphere. This wood allows for a smooth flex throughout the length of the skiboards.

360 full wrap Rockwell carbon steel edges:

Protect your skiboards from those unexpected dings while providing superior edge grip. Wide Body Shape: a large skiboard surface area for maximum stability, flotation, and speed.

Symmetrical Twin-tips:

Makes it easier to ride forwards as well as backwards (fakie). Excellent handling in the parks and pipes. Also, makes for the most perfect carves. Die-Cut Sintered bases: this is one of the best base materials for durability, maximum wax absorption, and speed. These p-tex 4000 bases have less friction and thus more speed, as well as less vulnerability to abrasion and impacts.

Carbonium Top Sheet

One of the strongest top sheets available (and very rare) that not only offers amazing top sheet protection from those potential dings and chips, but also allows the sharp graphics to show through in all their detail. Includes a UV protective layer. Bamboo Top Sheet adds additional torsional stiffness for more grip and extra durability, yet is slightly softer than a carbon top sheet for more playfulness.

Sidewall Bevel:

Further protects the top sheet from those occasional nicks. Stainless Steel inserts: 4 stainless steel inserts are centered within each skiboard, in a standard 40 X 40 mm skiboard binding mount pattern for non-release bindings. A centered stance gives you greater flexibility in customizing your preferred riding position. This also increases the retention strength of the bindings and allows for quick and accurate mounting, making it easy to interchange with other 4-hole pattern bindings.
